Experimental Psychology

Experimental Psychology is a subfield of psychology that studies cognitive processes underlying human and animal behavior using empirical research methods and often under controlled laboratory conditions. Full-time faculty and academic staff working in this area at our department include 1 professor, 2 associate professor, 1 assistant professor, 1 specialist, and 3 research assistants. Our faculty conduct both basic and applied research in various areas of cognitive and experimental psychology.

Studies are run in the Cognitive Psychology Laboratory and at the Center of Psychotechnic Assessment. Graduate programs (M.A. and Ph.D.) are offered periodically, providing an opportunity to specialize in various fields of Experimental Psychology.
