Therapies

In the Clinical Psychology Master Degree Program, students combine theoretical knowledge with psychotherapy practice on child and adult clients. Adult psychotherapies are supervised by Prof. Dr. Haluk Arkar, child psychotherapies are supervised by Prof. Dr. Oya Sorias and Assistant Professor Dr. Serap Tekinsav Sütçü.

‘Korku Avcısı’ which used for children with anxiety disorders “is structured cognitive behavior therapy program.

Cognitive behavior therapy program is applied for adults with anxiety and mood disorders.

In the third semester, clinical psychology PhD students practice in the light of taken courses. Cognitive behavior therapies for adults are supervised by Prof. Dr. Haluk Arkar. Within the frame of Projective Personality Assessment, students make assessment of Rorschach Ink Blok Test and Projective Personality Assessment is supervised by Prof. Dr. Oya Sorias. In addition, Cognitive behavior group therapy which applied by students for different disorders is supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Serap Tekinsav Sütçü. Therapies are conducted in visiting room in Ege University Psychology Department.

Tests

In the hospital internship and courses, a lot of psychological tests are learned and practiced. Master degree students do internship for 8 months in Ege University Hospital Adult Psychiatry Clinic and for 4 months in Ege University Hospital Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic. Students do internship inpatient and outpatient clinics and make assessments and supervised by expert psychologist in the hospital. The test as follows,
